This notice explains what personal data Chromata Films collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swiss data-protection law. Last updated 25 July 2026.

Who we are

What we collect, and why

When you contact us. If you complete an enquiry or contact form, we receive the details you provide — your names, email, phone number, wedding date, venue, planner, guest count, budget range and your message. We use this only to answer your enquiry and, if you become a client, to plan and deliver your film. The legal basis is your consent and our taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Form delivery. Our forms are delivered to our inbox by FormSubmit, which processes the submission on our behalf. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell personal data. We currently use no third-party analytics; if we add privacy-friendly, anonymous analytics in future, it will only run with your consent.

Cookies & similar technologies

Essential. We store your cookie choice in your browser (local storage) so we don't ask on every visit. This is required for the site to remember your preference and needs no consent.

Embedded media. Some pages embed films from YouTube (in privacy-enhanced "no-cookie" mode) and Vimeo. These load only after you allow "embedded media" in the consent banner. Until then, they are not loaded and set no cookies. When loaded, those providers may set their own cookies under their privacy policies.

Analytics. Off by default. Only enabled if you allow it.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the consent banner back.

Other services this site relies on

The site is hosted by Hostinger and uses Google Fonts to render type; fonts are served when pages load. These providers process technical data such as your IP address as part of delivering the page, as any web host does.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to answer you and, if you book, for the duration of our work together plus the period required by Swiss commercial and tax law. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, or a copy in a portable format, and you may withdraw consent or object to certain processing. Email contact@chromatafilms.com and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
