Wedding Videographer at Lake Como

Lake Como is the single venue region we have filmed most often outside France. Villa Erba, Villa Balbiano and Villa Bonomi have each hosted celebrations we filmed, several of them running across three or four days and multiple traditions.

The lake gives you something no other venue does ... a natural amphitheatre where the light comes off the water twice, once directly and once reflected. It also gives you boat transfers, terraced gardens and a strictly enforced curfew, all of which have to be filmed around.

Villa Erba at Cernobbio, with its lakeside park and vast pavilion. Villa Balbiano, the most cinematic private villa on the lake. Villa Bonomi, where we have filmed both a wedding and a Sangeet night. Villa del Balbianello on its promontory, and the private estates around Bellagio, Tremezzo and Torno.

Most of these are reached by boat for at least one part of the day. A camera team that has not planned for a water transfer loses twenty minutes of the ceremony to logistics.

A large share of the Lake Como weddings we film are Indian celebrations ... a Sangeet on the first night, a Mehndi, a Haldi, the ceremony and a reception, sometimes across two villas. We have filmed exactly this at Villa Erba and Villa Bonomi.

These weekends need a bigger crew, a director who knows the running order of the ceremony, and the discipline to be everywhere at once without ever being in a photograph. Rituals do not repeat for a camera.

Are you based in Italy?

We are based between the French Riviera and Geneva, both a few hours from the lake by road. That means we scout in person and are not adding long-haul travel to your quote.

How long until we receive our film?

The first films arrive from around four weeks after the wedding. A short highlight reel cut for Instagram can be turned around within a couple of days when the schedule allows it. You get a delivery date in writing when you book, not a vague promise.
